Compliance and risk management trends in 2015: A look ahead

Join SearchCompliance for our year-end Twitter chat on 2015 compliance, governance and risk management trends Thursday, Dec. 18, at 12 p.m. EST.

High-profile cyberbreaches, new regulations and technology trends such as automation all garnered considerable attention and compliance-targeted resources in 2014. With 2015 nearly upon us, it's time to look back, and ahead. What governance, risk and compliance (GRC) trends dominated the discussion in the past year, and where do you expect enterprise agendas to go in 2015?

Join SearchCompliance on Twitter for #GRCChat Thursday, Dec. 18, at 12 p.m. EST to discuss compliance, governance and risk management trends. SearchCompliance editors will lead the chat from the site's Twitter handle, @ITCompliance, joined by other TechTarget writers, editors and experts. Among the topics we expect to discuss: the GRC-related technologies that justified your investment, your biggest IT regrets and resolutions, and the biggest challenges you expect to face in the year ahead.

What are your GRC predictions for 2015?
The breach of security at Sony Pictures - for better or worse, their security was half-baked and "baked' isn't the word I would normally choose! -  was just the start of what will come in 2015. All companies should expect at least one cyber hack attempt. Ignore it at your peril... your clients won't and you'll soon find yourself without any.
