Representatives from LockPath Inc. tout its Keylight platform as a fast, efficient way to manage governance, risk and compliance requirements.
The Keylight platform was specifically designed to address IT departments' top concerns, including regulatory compliance management, LockPath CEO Chris Caldwell said. Keylight consists of several reusable, integrated systems and processing engines that help companies make regulatory compliance management decisions based on their own unique framework.

For example, the Keylight Compliance Manager offers a single point of regulatory compliance management for an entire organization, Caldwell said. "This software-based system integrates with existing IT infrastructure and pulls in the data required to identify issues and prioritize actions," he said.
Key features of the Keylight platform enable users to do the following:
- Consolidate business-critical risk and compliance data into executive views or dashboards.
- Mine risk and compliance data to create customizable reports through a comprehensive reporting framework.
- Generate assessment templates automatically, based on controls associated with specific compliance documents.
- Create and distribute conditional assessment questionnaires to evaluate and score security posture, readiness and risk level.
- Store audit findings, assessment artifacts and vendor agreements in a document repository for search and tracking.
Simplifying business continuity and continuous process improvement are two imperatives for companies of all sizes, and Keylight can help, Caldwell said. "You can create plans fully customized down to individual fields, field types, field visibility and forms, and easily export plan content with all supporting documents," he said.
For example, Keylight Risk Manager is designed to identify process deviations and alert an organization to the resulting regulatory compliance management vulnerabilities. Because it consolidates critical data streams into one comprehensive view, Risk Manager makes risk exceptions easier to identify and manage, according to Caldwell. This type of threat management and vulnerability management is vital for modern companies, he said.
"The act of harnessing all of the data and molding it into a meaningful dashboard is a daunting task in today's decentralized enterprises," Caldwell said. "Keylight Threat Manager's ability to offer a single console that gives up-to-the-minute information on potential errors, breaches and unauthorized intrusions is essential."
Caldwell notes that the Keylight systems are scalable for use by organizations of any size, and are highly customizable to meet end users' specific needs.
The Keylight platform offers features that will integrate additional data points from multiple products, and is able to connect with most types of security information and event management systems and vulnerability scanners. It also allows for complete integration with the Unified Compliance Framework.
The popularity of LockPath's channel program since its launch in 2011 has led to the addition of new service partners and resellers, such as data security consultant Accuvant Inc. LockPath also has strengthened existing partnerships with companies including communications provider BT Global Services Ltd. "By leveraging the agility and simplicity of LockPath software in our solutions, we improve our ability to deliver on our customer demands," said Jeff Schmidt, global head of business continuity, security and governance at BT Global Services in a statement.
LockPath plans to release Keylight 3.0, which will contain several enhancements to the Keylight platform, by year's end. For more information on LockPath's Keylight platform, visit www.lockpath.com or call 913-601-4800.
