The IT Governance Institute was established by ISACA in 1998 to "advance international thinking and standards in directing and controlling an enterprise's information technology." The ITGI provides research, publications and resources on IT governance and related topics to assist enterprise leaders with ensuring IT strategy supports the business's mission and goals.
